TYPICAL USES: CAR SHOWROOMS, FACTORIES

A door that provides maximum weather resistance with security. A panelled door made from
foam-filled galvanised steel or aluminium panels offering an insulating value of 0.45 W/M.Sq.k.
It benefits over roller shutter doors with its ability to have larger glazed windows or fully
glazed panels. Ideal for Car Showrooms and chilled areas within.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

DOOR LEAF
The door leaf consists of process laminated 42mm thick x 500mm high insulated sections. The specific
height of the door is achieved by trimming the top section. The surface is stucco pressed aluminium or
steel material. The door has side, bottom, top end section joint seals and is equipped with a sliding bolt
as standard.

INSULATION
The u-value through the sections is 0.37 W/M2oc.

TRACKS
Cold rolled 2mm thick galvanised steel track with bends that are performed in pairs to ensure
smooth operation. Tracks are secured to the opening structure by vertical support angles from the
roof structure. Spring buffers are provided for the back tracks to ensure operating cables are
always tensioned.

SPRINGS
Calculated to suit the weight of each door and fitted to a 25.4mm solid steel shaft and fixed via
bearing plates.

OPERATION
Doors in excess of 3000 x 3000 come with chain hoist. Doors of smaller size are provided with
pull chain. Single phase or 3 phase electric also available.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS
Polyester powder coated panels, windows, pass door and remote control.
